First Day of Summer...

I was so caught up Biking and enjoying this lovely day that I forgot it was The First Day of Summer...What I remember about summer the most would be the Block Parties on my Grandmothers block in Brooklyn. Those were the days. Being able to ride in the street without getting a beating (hahaha), Good Music, Good Food, Family and Neighbors coming together. For a moment, everything seemed ok ya know? Anyway...Summer aint Summer without this song...=) HAVE A GOOD SUMMER PEOPLE! Stay tuned for events and such...

::Video of the Day:: Slick Rick - It's a Boy

Well it is Fathers Day...So its only right I hit ya'll with a song about fatherhood...Who better to speak on it than my man Slick Rick...By the way hes gonna be at Rock the Bells this year...That show is gonna be BONKERS!!! Peep the Video!

Big Daddy Kane Follow Up

I've been a little caught up the past couple of days but the Big Daddy Kane Concert was DOPE! He put on a hell of a show. BDK is definitely a timeless individual who still spreads positive conscious words but can still get a crowd hype....AND HE STILL GOT HIS DANCE MOVES!!! He closed out the show with his signature round house kick over his back-up dancer into a split...THE CROWD WENT WILD!!! Check the Video Below...Plus you had Special Guests, Chubb Rock and Greg Nice of Nice n Smooth...Instant Classic! See all of the Pix Here. And add me on Facebook to see all of the videos I took that day.

I'll leave you with this quote from a acapella freestyle Kane spit that night..."We need to stop beefing with the Blue and the Red...and instead of putting two in ya head...We need to organize a movement instead..."
